How would you like to know that your project is being worked on by licensed trade people using the right quality materials? The kind of people that do the work right the first time with no major maintenance problems going forward?

Wouldn't you say you would love to work with a company like this?

Then you want to work with us because that's exactly what we deliver.

We understand construction requirements and deliverables such as:

  • Providing accurate, timely reporting and excellent project communications.

  • Maintaining agreed/approved schedule, with regular updates and critical path identification.

  • Ensuring health and safety requirements of the site for contractor, staff, the public, and tenants are met.

  • Ensuring security of the site and personnel, including trades people.

  • Knowledge of requirements regarding materials, equipment, quality, and time.

  • Maintaining a clean site so no dust can infiltrate into other areas, and ensuring noise from work, deliveries and debris removal is properly controlled.

  • Experience working after normal working hours (independence, efficiency), essential with appropriate, experienced personnel carrying out the work per design standards.

  • Ability to coordinate with other trades and project team members under pressure.

  • Work with hazardous materials contractors (asbestos, mold, lead) to ensure safe remediation where and when required.

  • Most of our work is carried out in, and adjacent to, occupied space, many with several phases, and all with tight budget and time constraints.

The willingness to do more

We are responsible for any shortcomings made by our staff. We're capable of being in charge of micromanaging, delegating tasks, ensuring adequate and satisfactory work output. We know that we have an obligation to pick up the slack when our team is underperforming, and we're am not afraid to put in some hard work when it is called for.

Ability to adapt and adjust

Everything doesn’t always go as planned. In fact, most of the time We can count on there being some deviation from the original blueprint, especially in the construction world where there are so many variables to consider. Our team is proficient and able to adapt to changes in our industry and quickly make adjustments to operations if need be. We are flexible to accept or facilitate change.

Diligence and persistence

Diligence is the drive to work hard at whatever we focus on, and persistence is the drive to continue working when things get tough. Both of these traits are needed in tandem – diligence without persistence will not put you ahead of challenges, and persistence without diligence will have you working harder but not smarter. We have both in abundance.

Creativity and innovation

Solutions to construction problems/challenges are not always obvious, straightforward, or easy to implement, Sometimes we have to think outside of the box and do some creative manoeuvring in order to escape the revolving door of failure or pressures. As an innovative team, we keep formulating new ways of service offerings and going above and beyond the efforts of the competition to impress and satisfy every of our clients.

Adept learning and researching skills

No one starts out knowing everything, which is why the ability to proficiently research and learn about new topics and concepts is such an important attribute for our team to have.

Keen observation is vital for us
One of our jobs is to supervise the tasks and actions of employees. Furthermore, we are able to effectively analyze the results of employee actions and take notice of any shortcomings that could be detrimentally affecting overall productivity. We have the ability to see in others the talents and encourage-direct-focus them to use it.
A competitive drive
In the construction industry there is competition to consider. We have a competitive drive that allow us to focus in our goals. Our strong competitive drive makes us more productive, thereby leading to greater levels of success.
Communication skills
When it comes to keeping clients happy and keeping employee morale high, our skills communication are the most important factor. We are attentive, friendly, well-spoken, and easy to contact. We understand in many cases good communication skills are the only trait that will retain a client or motivate an employee in times of hardship.
Effective leadership qualities
While this trait may seem like an obvious prerequisite for anyone in charge of running a business, you’d be surprised at how many directors fail to take their company by the reigns. An effective leader is assertive yet considerate, passionate yet logical, persuasive, and inspiring.
Kindness and strong ethics
A little bit of kindness goes a long way in the business world, especially when you’re dealing with disgruntled employees and/or clients. Having a strong sense of ethics enables us to treat people with respect, and in turn that respect is given back, and to avoid animosity and hostility in the workplace, both of which can greatly hinder collaborative efforts.

Health and safety in construction is not a matter to be taken lightly. In fact, health and safety needs to be front of mind in every aspect of construction at all times. The construction industry is prone to many hazards and accident potential. Construction materials, tools, machinery and handling techniques all come with their own dangers. The main types of accidents which cause death or serious injury on construction sites include falls, incidents with site vehicles, collapsing materials and contact with overhead power lines. Most accidents can be avoided by implementing stringent health and safety protocols and ensuring those protocols are constantly maintained. H&S methods will ensure the construction site has good design, good planning and uses tried and tested safety techniques. There is simply no excuse for slacking or cutting corners when it comes to health and safety in construction. Poorly implemented health and safety techniques, design and management can result in accidents, illness and even death, and We Fix It do publicly stand against it.

"With a rapidly developing global economy, it is crucial that we understand how the construction projects we undertake impact the environment and how we can measure and reduce that impact in the future. The construction sector contributes to 23% of air pollution, 50% of the climatic change, 40% of drinking water pollution, and 50% of landfill wastes. I do publicly stand against a structure and the application of processes that are not environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition." Lina Botero, President, We Fix It Management.
